Purpose and scope

This Privacy Policy sets out how GreenStudioLab process your personal data and sensitive personal data, including collect, use, disclose, retain, dispose and protect your personal data and sensitive personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”), its amendment, subsidiary legislation, order and standard pursuant to the PDPA, the Personal Data Protection Code of Practice for the Communications Class of Data Controllers 2017, General Code of Practice of Personal Data Protection 2022 and other applicable laws of Malaysia.

By providing your personal data and sensitive personal data to us, you are consenting to the processing of your personal data and sensitive personal data as described in this Privacy Policy.  We may also process your personal data and sensitive personal data to the extent permitted by law.

We may collect personal and sensitive personal information about you and store this information in connection with the provision and fulfilment of our Services to you. Personal information may include:

Defining Personal Data and Sensitive Personal Data
Personal data and sensitive personal data are defined in the PDPA and refer to any information that relates directly or indirectly to you, from which you may be identified.

For the avoidance of doubt, please note that this Privacy Policy is applicable if you are (i) a natural person who is a customer of Greenstudiolab; or (ii) employees, contract staff, representatives, directors or shareholders of Greenstudiolab.

This Privacy Policy also applies even if you are not one of our customers, but you interact with us, use one of our services (whether free or paid for by a third party), take part in a survey, promotion, competition, contest, loyalty program, or enquire about our services.

 

How we use your personal information
The above personal information may be used for the following purposes:

• To operate, improve, or promote our Service;

• To contact you;

• When you have opted to receive e-mails;

• To respond to your email inquiries. Specifically, when Visitors or Members send email inquiries to us, the return email address is used to respond to those inquiries. We do not use the return email address for any other purpose or share it with third parties.

• To monitor and analyse trends such as: behaviour on the site, email clicks and opens;

• Perform accounting, administrative and legal tasks;

• For profiling or auto-matching user preferences for a better & efficient user experience

 

Why and for how long do we store the information we collect
We retain certain information collected from you while you are a member on the Site, and in certain cases where you have deleted your account, for the following reasons:

• So that you can use our Site;

• To ensure that we do not communicate with you if you have asked us not to;

• To better understand traffic to our Site and provide all members with the best possible experience.

These staff members may include teams such as marketing, events, development, executive, and customer support. Employees only access data relevant to their team on a “need to know” basis.

We may access, preserve, and disclose information about you to third parties, including the content of messages, if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, applicable law, regulation, legal process, or audits. We may also disclose information about you if we believe that your actions are inconsistent with our Terms and Conditions or related guidelines and policies, or if necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of, or prevent fraud or abuse of, Company or others.

Advertiser Disclosures

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics Advertiser Features to optimise our business. Advertiser features include:

• Remarketing with Google Analytics

• Google Display Network Impression Reporting

• Double Click Platform integrations

• Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting

Among other uses, this allows us to contact you if you begin to fill out our check-out form but abandon it before completing it, with an email reminder to finish your order. The “Remarketing” feature allows us to reach people who previously visited our Site, and match the right audience with the right advertising message.

 

Your Obligations
You are responsible for providing accurate and current personal data and sensitive personal data, including that of others you represent or are responsible for.

This obligation is a condition to the provision of our company, preferred merchants’ and strategic partners’ products and/or services to you and/or any other person authorised or permitted by you or your organisation to use the products and/or services.
